Also known as Hallertauer Hersbrucker, a disease resistant replacement for Hallertau Mittelfruh. Hallertauer hops are the oldest cultivated hop in the world. Spicy, floral, & haylike. These hops are considered noble. Grown in Germany. Commonly used in German ales, Lagers, Cream & Blonde ales, Belgian ales, & Wheat beers. Current AA = 1.4%. Possible Substitutions include Tettnanger, Vanguard and Liberty.
