Bench Capper

If you are bitten by the homebrewing bug, no doubt you start looking at ways to make the most tedious part (bottling) a little easier. The 2 handled bottle capper that comes with most starter kits is awkward to use, applying leverage is tricky and you start to wonder "is there a better way?" There is. With a bench capper, you don't have to worry about your bottle slipping and sliding across a wet counter as you try to simultaneously apply leverage in two different directions. The longer handle makes getting sufficient leverage easier. You can also cap bottles of different sizes easily by pressing a button and sliding the head up and down and releasing the button locks it in place. No more slipping around, simpler cap seating and locking and above all, it removes unnecessary angst and tedium from a bottling session. Highly recommended.
