Cluster is the oldest hop variety grown in the US. It generally viewed as an all-purpose hop with moderate bitterness and a woody, piney, and sometimes black currant flavor/aroma. Typical AAU of 7%. Commonly used in Classic American Pilsner, Stouts, Porters, Brown Ales.
