Great tool to sample your creations whether for measurement or for taste!  Simply dip the end of the Thief into the fermenter and the device will fill.  You can also use it as a test jar for your hydrometer!

A recommendation from our brew crew:  If you only have a shallow sample to start with, shaking the Thief up and down while still in the liquid will allow you to fill it far past the depth of your vessel!
